Mark Twain's some wisdom words

Adjective

As to the Adjective: when in doubt, strike it out.

Advice

It's better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.

Always obey your parents, when they are present.

Do not offer a compliement and ask a favor at the same time, A compliment that is charged for is not valuable.

Put all your eggs in the one basket and -WATCH THAT BASKET.

Age

Life would be infinitely happier if we could only be born at the age of eighty and gradually approach eighteen.

Birth

Why is it that we rejoice at a birth and grieve at a funeral? It is because we are not the person involved.

Business

A man pretty much always refuses another man's first offer, no matter what it is.

Cats

If a man could be crossed with a cat, it would improve man, but it would deteriorate the cat.
